1. What we collect

Account data: email address, name (optional), and a securely hashed password — or your Google account email if you sign in with Google. Birth details: the birth date, time, and place you enter for yourself or for people you request readings about. Current location: the place you say you live now (set in your profile), used to personalize the Service and future features. Friend rankings: participants submit a name and birth details; these are visible to the ranking’s owner, and participants are told so before submitting. Payments: handled by PayPal — we never see or store your card number. Usage: privacy-friendly, cookie-less page analytics (Vercel Web Analytics).

2. How we use it

To compute your chart and generate readings, to save your unlocked readings to your account, to operate compatibility rankings you create or join, to process purchases, and to keep the Service secure (rate limiting, bot prevention). We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your birth details for advertising.

3. Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run the Service: Vercel (hosting & analytics), Neon (database), Anthropic (generating the text of readings from your chart), PayPal (payments), Google (optional sign-in), Cloudflare (bot protection on sign-up), and Upstash (rate limiting). Data is stored on servers located in the United States.

4. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (it expires when you close your browser, with a maximum life of 3 days) and one to remember your language. Our analytics are cookie-less. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Retention & deletion

Your account data, saved readings, and presets are kept while your account exists. Ranking entries deleted by an owner are purged within 3 days. To delete your account and associated personal data, email us and we will process the request within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
